Rejoice with us!
Pal and Anna Borzasi
Life is very busy at Crasna. Our family has grown a little, since our second son Aron arrived, and our home became more noisy. Of course, we are pleased about that. The family also became less, as my father went to be with the Lord in August. But we submit ourselves to our loving Father’s sovereign will, and we enjoy His consolation.
In the truth
As far as the church is concerned, we have been through a challenging time, that turned out to affect our future ministry in the village. What happened is that we did not accept the invitation to go and participate in the local ecumenical meeting, together with the local Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Reformed churches, all of which are liberal and ecumenical in their doctrine. Therefore we were told off by the local newspaper, and criticised in an inappropriate and unjustifiable way. I did write a reply to the newspaper, but my article was not published until seven months later. However, the church is pleased about the withdrawal, and this encourages us greatly. ‘Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.’
In conversions
We are also rejoicing over the conversion of five young people, who are going to be baptised soon (Zsolt, Beáta, Karola, Enikő, and Márta). They will join the church as soon as they are baptised.
‘Rejoice in the Lord always’, says the Apostle Paul. We do have reasons for that.
